Elk Valley House

Description:

Elk Valley House is a contemporary 8,390-square-foot home built into a hillside in Eden, Utah, terraced down its slope behind stepped stone retaining walls. Walls of glass and deep overhangs open the interior to long valley and mountain views, carried inside by warm plank ceilings, black steel window frames, and an open great room anchored by a linear fireplace. A glass elevator moves between levels, and solar power runs beneath it all. Four bedrooms and five baths, with generous garage and gear space for a household that lives outdoors. Architecture by Bertoldi Architects, with interiors by Ray Bertoldi in house.

We had a wonderful experience with Big Canyon Homes. Building a custom home can be stressful and challenging. It wasn’t with Big Canyon. Their attention to detail, focus on quality and communication made our experience a wonderful one. High marks for Big Canyon Homes. We highly recommend them.
